As I updated my 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐈–𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓, I see a lot of good stuff and a ton of copycats that are not really adding value to professional workflows or enhancing creativity for artists.

What is on my mind a lot though:

How can we as a society provide a positive outlook and a means of secured income, as well as a foundational sense of purpose, if jobs are being replaced or devalued?

It’s a question that’s been on the minds of many as technology continues to advance at breakneck speed. With automation and artificial intelligence taking over mundane tasks, what does that mean for the human workforce? How can we ensure that people aren’t left behind?

The answer, I believe, lies in our inherent humanity. It’s the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇 that will become increasingly valuable. Of course, this isn’t to say that advanced technology isn’t useful – and inevitable. Quite frankly we have been using AI and machine learning for many, many years already.

Craftsmanship, artistry, personal care, sustainable architecture, and permaculture are all examples of skills and practices that require a human touch and can’t be replicated by machines.

Imagine a world where these practices are at the forefront of our society, where we value the human touch and celebrate the unique qualities that make us who we are. Where we prioritize sustainability and work towards creating a world that’s better for both us and the planet.

𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 – 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥.

It is up to us, to determine how we use it and what kind of society we want to create.
