Frequencies: The Influence of Resonance on Human Emotions, Moods, and Well-Being - discover the tools and how to use them.

Frequencies – waves and vibrations – encapsulate a fundamental aspect of our perceptible world.

They are the rhythmic oscillations or repetitive patterns of a wave, measured in cycles per second or Hertz (Hz). From the subtle undulations of sound to the energetic pulsations of electromagnetic fields, frequencies form the very essence of our sensory experiences.

At its core, the concept of frequencies is rooted in the fundamental nature of wave propagation. When an object oscillates, it generates waves that travel through a medium, whether it be air, water, or even the vacuum of space. These waves, characterized by their frequency, wavelength, and amplitude, carry energy and information across space and time.

“IF YOU WANT TO FIND THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE – THINK IN TERMS OF ENERGY, FREQUENCY AND VIBRATION.”

Nikola Tesla

The significance of frequencies permeates every facet of our existence

They orchestrate the symphony of sounds that serenade our ears, from the melodic notes of music to the reverberations of speech. Frequencies also govern the vast spectrum of light that paints our visual world, illuminating the wonders of nature and technology alike.

Harnessing the Power of Vibrational Frequencies:

The Mind-Body Connection

Our thoughts and feelings emit energetic vibrations frequencies. Though imperceptible to the naked eye, they have a tangible impact on our well-being. Positive thoughts and emotions resonate at higher frequencies, creating an environment of vitality, clarity, and joy. Conversely, negative thoughts and emotions vibrate at lower frequencies, potentially leading to feelings of lethargy, stress, and dissonance.

Furthermore, these energetic vibrations are not confined to our inner world. They ripple out into our surroundings, influencing the energy of spaces and even the reactions of those around us.

It’s akin to a silent language communicating our inner state to the universe.

By becoming attuned to the power of our frequencies, we hold the key to shaping our reality. Through mindfulness, positive affirmations, and intentional practices, we can elevate our vibrational state, creating a harmonious resonance between mind, body, and environment. In doing so, we unlock the potential for transformation, inviting a higher, more vibrant way of living into our lives.

The Schumann Resonance: Earth’s Natural Frequency

One of the most intriguing frequencies in the natural world is known as the Schumann Resonance. Named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, this phenomenon refers to the resonant frequency of the Earth’s electromagnetic field. In recent years, the Schumann Resonance has garnered attention due to concerns about human-generated electromagnetic interference. The proliferation of electronic devices and wireless technologies has led to discussions about the potential effects of this natural frequency and, consequently, on living organisms.

The Earth’s Heartbeat

The Schumann Resonance linkes to the Earth’s heartbeat, with its fundamental frequency hovering around 7.83 hertz (Hz). This resonance arises from the cavity between the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere, which is about 80 kilometers above.

Synchronization with Brain Waves

Interestingly, the Schumann Resonance is remarkably close to the frequency range of human brain waves, particularly the Alpha and Theta states associated with relaxed awareness and deep meditation. Some theorists suggest a potential correlation between these frequencies and states of consciousness.

Influence on Biological Rhythms

There is ongoing research into the potential impact of Schumann Resonance on living organisms. Studies propose that this natural frequency may play a role in regulating biological rhythms, including sleep patterns and hormone secretion.

Holistic practices and alternative therapies incorporate the concept of the Schumann Resonance in their approach to healing and well-being.

The Influence of Frequencies on Human Experience

  • influence various aspects of human experience, including emotions, moods, and overall well-being.
  •  resonate with our emotional states, potentially amplifying or calming feelings. For instance, lower frequencies, like those found in deep, resonant sounds, may evoke a sense of grounding and tranquility, while higher frequencies can impart a sense of excitement or alertness.

Frequency in the Natural World – Cymatics

A famous experiment involving frequencies and water, was conducted by Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist. He claimed that human consciousness could directly influence the molecular structure of water. Dr. Emoto’s experiments involved exposing water to various stimuli, including music, words, and written intentions, and then freezing the water to observe the resulting crystalline structures.

Biofeedback and Bio-Resonance are alternative therapeutic approaches that utilize frequencies in the context of holistic health and well-being.

Biofeedback provides real-time feedback on physiological processes such as heart rate, muscle tension, and skin temperature. By becoming aware of these processes, individuals can learn to regulate them, potentially leading to improved health outcomes.

Bio Resonance, on the other hand, is based on the idea that every cell, tissue, and organ in the body emits its own unique electromagnetic frequency. Practitioners use specialized devices to measure and analyze these frequencies, identifying imbalances or disruptions in the body’s energy field. This information aimes at restoring balance and promoting healing.

Natural Vibrations of Crystals

Crystals possess unique vibrational frequencies, which can be influenced by factors like temperature, pressure, and impurities. Modalities like crystal healing, color therapy, and energy work operate on the premise that different frequencies have unique healing properties. Practitioners believe aligning the body’s frequencies with specific vibrational energies can promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Brainwave Frequencies

The frequencies present in our environment, like flowing water or bird songs or from man-made sources like machinery or electronic devices, can have subtle yet tangible effects on our mood and overall sense of well-being.

Alternative Medicine and Energy Healing – Therapeutic Applications

Used in therapeutic settings to address specific emotional or psychological challenges, specific frequencies are employed in sound therapy to alleviate stress, anxiety, or even pain.

Meditation: Binaural Beats / synchronized waves can facilitate the transition into meditative states, enhancing focus and relaxation.

Focus and Productivity: Synchronizing brainwaves to specific frequencies,  leads to heightened concentration and productivity.

Stress Reduction and Relaxation: Entrainment techniques can induce deep relaxation, helping to alleviate stress and anxiety.

Sleep enhancement: Exposure to specific frequencies can influence our brainwave patterns through the process of entrainment.

Music and Mood Music is a powerful example of how frequencies impact our emotional state. Different musical notes and harmonies can evoke a wide range of emotions, from joy and exhilaration to introspection and melancholy. Therapy  with music often leverages this phenomenon to promote emotional healing and well-being.

These modalities are employed by sound healers and practitioners to facilitate physical, emotional, and energetic healing, as well as to promote states of deep relaxation and meditation. Each modality offers a unique approach to harnessing the therapeutic potential of sound vibrations.

The Influence of Resonance in Sound Healing:

Sound healing modalities encompass a diverse range of instruments and techniques that harness the power of vibrations for therapeutic purposes. Here are some notable sound healing modalities:

Crystal Singing Bowls: These bowls are made from quartz crystal and produce pure, resonant tones when played. Each bowl tuned to a specific note, corresponds to a chakra or energy center in the body.

Tuning Forks: Tuning forks are precision-calibrated metal instruments that emit specific frequencies when struck. They are used to apply focused vibrations to different parts of the body, promoting healing and balance.

Gongs: Gongs produce powerful, multidimensional tones that can induce deep relaxation and meditation. Their rich harmonics can penetrate the body on a cellular level.

Drums: Drumming is an ancient form of sound therapy that involves rhythmic patterns and vibrations. It promotes grounding, stress relief, and even facilitate altered states of consciousness.

Didgeridoo: This Australian Aboriginal instrument produces low-frequency, resonant sounds. Its vibrations are believed to have therapeutic effects on the body, particularly concerning respiratory and circulatory systems.

Singing / Himalayan Bowls (Metal): Similar to crystal bowls, metal singing bowls – made from alloys of various metals – produce complex, harmonious tones and are often used for meditation and relaxation.

Flutes: Native American flutes, bansuris, and other traditional flutes create soothing melodies that can induce a state of calmness and mindfulness.

Voice and Chanting: The human voice is a powerful tool for sound healing. Vocal toning, chanting, and mantra recitation can stimulate energy flow and promote emotional release.

Bells: Various types of bells, including Tibetan bells and Tingsha bells, produce clear, high-frequency tones. They are often used to signal the beginning or end of a sound healing session.

Monochords: Consiststing of a single string stretched over a resonant chamber, this instrument creates a continuous, soothing tone that can induce deep relaxation.

Pyramid Resonance Therapy: Involves the use of pyramids, often made of quartz or other resonant materials, to amplify and direct healing vibrations.

Relevance of Brainwave “Entrainment”

Brainwave entrainment involves using external stimuli, like sound or light pulses, to synchronize brainwave activity.

Binaural Beats

Binaural beats are a fascinating auditory phenomenon that can influence our brainwave activity. They occur when two slightly different frequencies are presented separately to each ear. The brain perceives the difference between these frequencies as a rhythmic pulsing, or “beat,” which is not actually present in the auditory input. For example, if one ear hears a tone at 300 Hz and the other at 310 Hz, the brain perceives a binaural beat of 10 Hz.

These beats have shown potential in various applications. For instance, binaural beats in the Alpha range (around 8 to 14 Hz) may promote relaxation and calmness, making them suitable for stress reduction or meditation. In contrast, beats in the Beta range (around 14 to 30 Hz) may be used to enhance alertness and concentration.

Research suggests that listening to binaural beats can influence mental states, potentially aiding in focus, relaxation, and even sleep. While the science is still evolving, many individuals find binaural beats to be a valuable tool for achieving desired mental states and enhancing their overall well-being.

It is best to use headphones for an effective experience!

EMPATHETIC MULTI-POTENTIALITE, SCANNER, OR EVEN POLYMATH?

Are YOU AN empathic Scanner Personality,
HSP, or Polymath?

Create a career that aligns with your diverse passions and unique strengths.

Empathic Scanner Personality, or Polymath? Create a career that aligns with your diverse passions and unique strengths.

Personality types like Empaths, Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs),
Scanner Personalities, “Multipods”, and Polymaths exhibit distinct traits:

Interestingly, some of these traits can overlap with symptoms commonly associated with ADHD, sparking my curiosity about the connections between these types and ADHD characteristics.

Scanner Personalities, Multipods, and Polymaths

These individuals are marked by diverse interests and talents. Their natural inclination to explore various fields and continuously learn sets them apart.

As a Scanner Personality or Multipotentialite myself, I’ve seen how this way of engaging with the world can enrich life – while also presenting challenges.

Barbara Sher, author of “Refuse to Choose,” coined the term “Scanner Personality” to describe those who thrive on constantly discovering new interests. Unlike individuals with ADHD, Scanners are perfectly capable of concentrating deeply on something – just not indefinitely. Once they’ve absorbed enough, they move on to the next passion. Routine, for a Scanner, feels stifling.

Emily Wapnick, in the TED Talk *”Why Some of Us Don’t Have One True Calling,” popularized the term “Multipods”, referring to those who, like Scanners, don’t want to be limited to one life path. Her book “How to Be Everything” offers more insight into embracing this lifestyle.

Empaths and HSPs: Similarities and Differences

  • Empaths: Deeply attuned to emotions and energies, empaths can absorb the feelings of others, sometimes to the point of overwhelm.
  • Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs): They share the heightened sensitivity of Empaths but also experience it through physical stimuli like light, sound, or crowds.

Both can struggle with attention regulation, something often associated with ADHD. However, as Barbara Sher noted, these sensitivities do not equate to ADHD itself.

TOO MUCH PRESSURE

Multipotentialites vs. Polymaths:

While Multipotentialites are generalists, exploring multiple fields without focusing on mastery, Polymaths go deeper, achieving excellence in several disciplines. Both types thrive on continuous learning and often find routine unbearable.

Historical Scanner Personalities,
Multipods, or Polymaths:

  • Leonardo da Vinci:
One of the most famous polymaths in history, da Vinci was a painter, sculptor, architect, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, and writer. He is renowned for his contributions to art, including masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, as well as his groundbreaking scientific and engineering designs.
  • Marie Curie:
A pioneering scientist and one of the most prominent female polymaths, she was a physicist and chemist. Marie Curie made groundbreaking discoveries regarding radioactivity and was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.
  • Nikola Tesla
A brilliant inventor and engineer, Tesla was known for his contributions and the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems, wireless communication, and numerous other inventions and innovations
  • Neil deGrasse Tyson:
An astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator, Tyson has expertise in multiple scientific disciplines and is known for his ability to communicate complex ideas to the public.
  • Buckminster Fuller:
A visionary designer, architect, author, philosopher, inventor, and futurist, he developed significant contributions like the geodesic dome to sustainable architecture and global problem-solving.

Contemporary Scanner Personalities,
Multipods, or Polymaths:

  • A modern-day Polymath I admire is Robert Edward Grand
an exceptional scientist and spiritual seeker and finder. Please go ahead and visit his site – it is beyond mind-blowing how he fuses science and art with spirituality.
  • Elon Musk:
    – controversial entrepreneur, engineer, inventor, and visionary. He co-founded and leads several companies, including SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and The Boring Company, focussing on space exploration, electric vehicles, and renewable energy.
  • Temple Grandin:
A professor of animal science at Colorado State University, Grandin is also an author and advocate for autism and animal welfare, combining her expertise in animal behavior and autism advocacy.
  • Angela Duckworth:
A psychologist and author known for her research on grit, perseverance, and success. Duckworth’s work spans psychology, education, and behavioral economics.
  • Michio Kaku:
A theoretical physicist, futurist, and popularizer of science, Kaku explores concepts like string theory, parallel universes, and the future of humanity. His ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to the public has made him a prominent figure in the scientific community.

Are you a Multi-Potentialite, Scanner, or even Polymath too?

  • Your mind is like a melting pot of inspiration for probably more ideas than one human alone can transform into reality.
  • You question authorities and hierarchies.
  • Decision-making is not so easy a task for you.
  • Finishing projects can be daunting and haunting: sticking to one thing longer – so it can be financially fruit-bearing – feels likely almost impossible.
  • You are very good at learning on your terms; thus, you are very often autodidactic.
  • You are a well of information that you share with enthusiasm – if it is still on your excitement horizon.

THE POWER OF MYTH

The Power of Myth - The hero/ines journey revisited: Mythology should be regarded for what it truly is - a metaphor for our human existence.

THE POWER OF MYTH

The hero/ines journey revisited

Hardtfeld _The power of myth

A treasure to read: The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell

Joseph Campbell – the power of myth and the hero/ines Journey:

The Power of Myth was the first book I devoured when I started my acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. There was a list of recommended books to get and looking back now, I can say that this one was the! essential read.

Entering the cave you fear to enter:

On the hero’s journey, one must face dragons, be they real or symbolic. These challenges arise as the hero ventures towards the innermost cave, where the most pivotal crisis awaits, and where the hero’s true self is unveiled.

As the years pass, we age, and eventually, we bid farewell to this earthly existence. Yet, within this finite period, we yearn for something more. A purpose that resonates with our very being. It need not be grand or showy, but it must hold profound significance for us.

It’s the journey from the mundane to the extraordinary. It’s a transition from shadow to “enlightenment”. We can experience a profound shift from a life that lacks fulillment to one that overflows with it. Earned by surmounting challenges that once seemed insurmountable. If we confront our fears, conquer our inner demons, and cross the threshold, symbolising our arrival, we ultimately, transform into heroes.

About Joseph Campbell and the power of Myth:

Joseph Campbell was a 20th-century mythologist who compared religions and myths of the world and noticed a common thread. Filmmakers like e.g. George Lucas used this universal story structure as a base for his stories.

The Hero/ine’s Journey has been a fundamental guideline for screenwriting in the film industry ever since.

He drew connections between the philosophies and mythic narratives of cultures worldwide, discovering a common thread that resonates universally.:

Campbell’s insight was that beneath the diverse stories we tell, there is a fundamental narrative that speaks to all of us, regardless of our origins. This narrative, which he termed the “hero’s journey,” lies at the heart of our shared human experience.

There are uncountable versions of hero stories from every culture. However, it wasn’t until Joseph Campbell came along that many realized how they all seemed to interlock, essentially telling the same story:

A simplified rendition of the hero’s journey involves someone starting in their familiar, protected world, and receiving a call to adventure. This call is marked by a vision, a quest, and it forms the core of the hero’s story. The hero faces trials, encounters various challenges and adversaries, meets those who harm and those who aid, and confronts closed doors.

Mythology should be regarded for what it truly is – a metaphor for our human existence.

Joseph Campbell believed they are narratives about the psyche, what Carl Jung referred to as the self. Jung termed these encapsulated stories or mythologies “Archetypes”.

This culminating moment is one of triumph and glory, but it is not the journey’s conclusion:

After facing the challenges, the hero’s path leads them back to their community, ready to share their transformative story, woven with adventures, featuring heroes, villains, gods, goddesses, knights, and mythical beings.

Interestingly, they are mirrors reflecting our inner landscapes, springing forth from the depths of our own souls.

With a discerning eye, you’ll find the pattern in numerous stories, be it Star Wars, The Matrix, Harry Potter, or the tale of The Ugly Duckling: Each of these is a timeless narrative following the hero’s odyssey.

Dazed and confused equates to stagnant entropy.

In a world obsessed with instant gratification, bombarded by constant media, and advertisements, many inadvertently disconnect from their innermost selves. They overlook the mythical realm that dwells within each person, housing their fervent passions, innate gifts, exceptional talents, and exclusive modes of self-expression. This is their soul—a boundless source of potential and endless possibilities.

The only way out is through.

Indeed, when faced with challenges, it’s entirely natural to feel fear. However, true courage manifests in the act of pushing through that fear. It’s crucial to remember that feeling scared is a valid emotion; it should never serve as a barrier to taking action. Have you witnessed in your own life how certain things show up again and again until resolved?

Breakdown before breakthrough:

Battling our inner demons and triumphing over life’s challenges is a transformative journey. It empowers us to confront fear, grow beyond its limits, and ultimately seize control over it. It’s worth noting that some of life’s most rewarding moments often emerge on the other side of a struggle.

In essence, each setback or challenge is akin to half of a larger picture, waiting for a stroke of higher awareness to complete it. By infusing our difficulties with a deeper level of understanding, we gain a more comprehensive perspective that aids us in mastering them.

The call to adventure:

There exists a cosmic summons, urging us to venture beyond the boundaries of our accustomed reality. This call lingers, insistent, until we heed its presence. It might arrive with a tender touch or a powerful jolt, contingent upon our depth of perception.

Life’s trials, like the abrupt loss of a job, the fracture of a marriage, or financial upheaval, often come cloaked in the garb of crisis. While these challenges may initially bring distress, they bear the potential to reveal hidden facets of our being, propelling us towards profound personal growth.

The Chinese symbol for crisis encapsulates both: danger and opportunity.

From surviving to thriving

In mythology, death symbolises a profound transformation, a shift in one’s existence. A metaphorical death, where something must perish for something new to thrive.

Examining every hero’s journey reveals a common theme:

The hero confronts the realisation that the world they believed to be real is nothing more than an illusion.

In the much-debated and influential film “The Matrix,” the central character, Neo, finds himself ensnared within an elaborate illusion, woven from the prevailing norms and beliefs of society. Deep within, he sensed a profound longing to break free from this mirage. It was this yearning that propelled him to opt for the red pill, a choice that unraveled a fresh reality before him. This newfound world unveiled the reservoir of untapped potential within him.

Ultimately, it’s not the events themselves that define us, but rather how we choose to navigate and grow from them.

The Power of Myth - The hero/ines journey revisited: Mythology should be regarded for what it truly is - a metaphor for our human existence.

The true essence of the hero’s journey

This Cycle of life lies not in conquering external dragons or acquiring material rewards, but in the inner transformation and the tales we bring back to ignite inspiration in others. This journey is an ongoing cycle of development, wisdom, and giving back.

Embracing the dragon and its cave as part of your journey implies the inherent wisdom of truly loving yourself:

Sitting with your pain, not escaping it, accepting to integrate your shadows and embrace them as the seeds for your evolution, allowing your gifts to shine.

WHAT IS YOUR HEROINE’S STORY?

At the heart of storytelling lies a profound lesson. Characters step into the shadows of the unknown, facing their innermost selves. Here lies a deep connection between confronting fear and gaining a soulful enrichment – a hidden power of immense value. These are the crucible moments, where humans approach what seems like the brink of despair, only to emerge stronger, redeemed, and ultimately, elevated. We call them heroes.

Imagine if we could distill all these stories into a single map, a universal guide for all of us.

Because deep down, every human being shares a common thread. Whether we’re navigating through a grand external conflict like World War II or an internal battle, the essence of the journey remains unaltered. In truth, we’re not disconnected from the characters we meet in our tales, whether they grace the screen or the pages of a novel – because they are us. It’s a shared odyssey that binds us all.

The hero’s journey mirrors the journey of life:

The hero’s journey beautifully mirrors the trajectory of our lives: We enter this world, navigate the trials of childhood and adolescence, strive to find our footing as adults, embark on adventures, grapple with inner conflicts.

Taking that first step towards your passion can be intimidating, especially when faced with uncertainty and fear of failure and the opinions and judgments of others can be a major obstacle in pursuing one’s bliss.

Overcoming this fear is a crucial step in the journey toward fulfillment and authenticity. When you decide to answer the call, embracing the challenges of this awakened existence, you tap into unparalleled power. Yet, many are hesitant to confront this power – until there comes a point of no return.

Leaving the uncomfortable comfort zone:

Each time we choose to face our fears, our comfort zone expands, and what once seemed daunting becomes more manageable. It is crucial for our personal growth and empowerment.

Following one’s bliss is not about pursuing hedonistic pleasures or selfishness. It’s about listening to the call of your inner spirit and embracing the possibilities of the present moment. It’s about engaging in activities that make time seem to fly by because of the joy and absorption they bring. Combining this with skills and talents is key for a thriving life.

Happy life, happy death.

As we approach our deathbeds, regrets don’t come from the risks we took, the opportunities we seized, or the times we looked silly. They stem from the risks we didn’t take, and the opportunities we missed. It’s the choices we didn’t make that fill our hearts with regret.

Find what makes you feel alive in the morning, what makes you feel like you can conquer anything.

Find what brings you transcendence – the act or process of rising above or going beyond your ordinary limits, experiences, or boundaries. It often implies surpassing the usual or typical state to achieve a higher or more advanced level of understanding, awareness, or existence. that goes beyond the physical or material world. Moving beyond personal limitations, fears, or prejudices to attain a greater level of self-awareness, wisdom, or emotional well-being, discovering your personal state of awe.

The caged bird that sings – symbolizes the freedom and authenticity that comes with embracing one’s true calling.

Discovering one’s bliss involves introspection and asking questions such as:

  •  What am I passionate about?
  •  What activities make time fly by?
  • What set me apart as a child, even if it made me different from others?

This exploration can lead to the door of your bliss. In essence, following your bliss means finding and embracing what truly inspires and fulfills you, even if it means charting a unique course that defies convention.

Engage in activities that bring you happiness and fulfillment.

Following your dreams and doing what you love doesn’t always guarantee immediate financial success, but it leads to a personal fulfillment that’s invaluable.

Many of history’s exceptional inventors, visionary business leaders, and pioneering scientists were motivated not primarily by financial gain, but by an unwavering passion and a profound sense of purpose. It’s about discovering that one thing that strikes a chord deep within you, something you feel you MUST pursue.

Ask yourself: What would you do if money was not an issue?

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”

Joseph Campbell

In the myth and narrative of the Hero/ines journey, the protagonist always reaches a point where they have to confront a dragon and choose to either slay it and enter the cave – or turn back. It is a pivotal moment in their journey, as they must face their fears and overcome obstacles to advance towards their ultimate goal.

I would like to suggest a different approach:

How about you show your strength and present yourself as equally bold and fierce as the dragon – and not act in reactive violence, but instead BEFRIEND that dragon? Because, after all, the cave is metaphoric for your fears and shadows.

“DRINKING TEA WITH YOUR DRAGON: ONCE YOU ENTER THE CAVE – YOU REALISE IT HAS BEEN YOUR LIVING ROOM.”

For me, the core of the Heros journey is not about vanquishing external dragons or accumulating material gains. Instead, it resides in the inner metamorphosis and the stories we return with – kindling inspiration in those around us.

Befriending the dragon and its cavern on your journey signifies the innate wisdom of wholeheartedly loving yourself.

Accept every shadow – and if you allow it to be – it is not as daunting and scary. Instead, transmute the so-called negative aspects into what becomes your gift:

Your core wound translates into your vocation:
This is your gift to you and the world.

Much like the Hero/ines journey, the Gene Keys invite us to face our inner dragons, not as adversaries, but as wise mentors. By accepting our shadows, we unearth the hidden treasures within ourselves, transmuting our core wounds into our greatest gifts.

BLISSIPLINE

What is blissipline? The practice of combining discipline and bliss to achieve a state of heightened awareness and happiness.

What is blissipline?

the practice of combining discipline and bliss to achieve a state of heightened awareness and happiness.

What is blissipline? The practice of combining discipline and bliss to achieve a state of heightened awareness and happiness.

What is “blissipline”?

Blissipline is a term that has been coined to describe the practice of combining discipline and bliss in order to achieve a state of flow or optimal performance. Discipline and bliss may seem like two opposite concepts, but in reality, they can complement each other in a powerful way.

The word “discipline” is derived from the Latin word “disciplina,” which means “instruction” or “teaching.” This word is closely related to the word “disciple,” which also comes from the Latin word “discipulus,” meaning “student” or “follower.” The connection between these two words is rooted in the idea that discipline involves the rigorous training and instruction of individuals, much like the way a teacher would train and instruct their students.

The combination of discipline and bliss involves cultivating a sense of discipline in one’s daily life, while also cultivating a sense of joy and gratitude in every moment.

To practice blissipline, one must first identify goals and priorities, and then commit to a daily routine that supports those goals. This may involve setting aside time for meditation, exercise, or other activities that promote physical and mental health. And if you have got stuff to do, things on your to-do list –  may it be personal or in your business – structure and focus.

For me, this means taking time each day for those things – they help me stay focused and energized, while also bringing me a lot of joy and satisfaction. In addition to discipline, the practice of “blissipline” also involves cultivating a sense of gratitude and joy in every moment.

Accomplishments definetely add to the feeling of bliss.

This can be achieved by focusing on the present moment, finding pleasure in small things, and developing a sense of appreciation for one’s life and surroundings. Whether I’m stuck in traffic or dealing with a difficult situation at work, I try to find the silver lining and appreciate the good things in my life. For example: What is good about being stuck in traffic?

Hint: It gives you the gift of a moment to pause. To breathe deeply. to connect to your gratitude.

Blissipline is not just about achieving personal goals or success, but also about finding happiness and fulfillment in the journey.

It involves letting go of stress and negativity, and embracing a positive and joyful outlook on life. It’s not always easy, of course. There are days when I struggle to find joy in the little things, or when I get frustrated with myself for not sticking to my routine. But that’s okay. The point of blissipline isn’t to be perfect; it’s to find a balance that works for you.

So, if you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed in your personal life or business, I encourage you to give blissipline a try. Find a routine that works for you, and make sure to include activities that bring you joy and happiness. And remember, it’s not about being perfect – it’s about finding joy in the journey and achieving a state of flow that can lead to greater success and fulfillment in all aspects of life.

Ps. It’s unclear who exactly coined the term “Blissipline.” It seems to have emerged from the personal development and self-help community:

A way to describe the practice of combining discipline and bliss to achieve a state of heightened awareness and happiness.

However, the origins and specific creator of the term are not well-documented. I remember Vishan Lakhiani from Mindvalley using it and also Hedviggen in 2013.

CHANNELING / MEDIUMSHIP

CHANNELING & MEDIUMSHIP: attuning to receive higher communication and insights. Mastering being human and integrating spirit.

CHANNELING & MEDIUMSHIP

attuning to receive higher communication and insights.

CHANNELING & MEDIUMSHIP: attuning to receive higher communication and insights. Mastering being human and integrating spirit.

What is Channelling and what is Mediumship?

Some call it intuition or gut feeling – you might have experienced it when in “the flow” creating.

I remember the first time I consciously realised – while writing lyrics for a song – how I felt deeply connected to something outside of me: The words were flowing effortlessly: I would just write and write. Then I would finetune the wording a little bit – and there it was: A complete song, or story – or later in my carrer life – a business outline.

I realized that I was “connected” in moments of unforced creation.

The ingredients: To be in love with what you are doing and to allow inspiration to come in. Without limiting thoughts or expectations of the outcome.

Years later, when my work also included personal and brand consulting – I almost had nothing to prepare when meeting with clients or mentees. When I felt safe and appreciated, when I intrinsically knew I had nothing to prove – the words and wisdom would flow right in – leaving everyone involved with goosebumps, utter joy and a raised level of energy.

I then learned that when you have goosebumps and the hairs on your skin are standing up, it is referred to as “having chills” or experiencing “hair standing on end.” This physiological reaction is known as piloerection. It can occur in response to various stimuli, including strong emotions like fear, excitement, or the sense of awe, (as well as in response to cold temperatures, haha).

I love to see it as antennas for connecting with the divine forces of creation – an affirmation of being on the right track, if you will.

Consider this: Your brain is freed of the egoic construct and turns into a “radio” tuned in to the right frequency to translate energy – like a collaboration with higher spirits.

When I do card readings, it is most evident: There is a profound wisdom in the interpretations – that surely does not come from me. Afterward, I often do not even recall what I have said, but the receiver of the message is moved and presented with a practical solution for the question they sought an answer to.

Channeling and mediumship are both practices associated with communicating with entities or energies beyond the physical realm.

Channeling involves allowing an external entity, often considered to be of a higher spiritual consciousness, to communicate through an individual.

The channeler typically enters a meditative or altered state of consciousness. In this state, they may receive messages, information, or guidance from the entity they are channeling. Some channelers claim to connect with spirit guides, ascended masters, or extraterrestrial beings.

Some famous channelers in history:

Jane Roberts, Seth An American author and medium who channeled an entity named Seth. Her channeling sessions produced a series of influential books known as the Seth Material, which gained widespread recognition.

Dion Fortune A British occultist, Fortune claimed to channel messages from spiritual beings and wrote extensively on topics related to esotericism and mysticism.

Alice Baily Influential writer and theosophist, Bailey claimed to receive teachings from a spiritual entity known as Djwhal Khul through a form of automatic writing

Aleister Crowley While controversial, Crowley claimed to have received messages from a being named Aiwass, which formed the basis of his spiritual philosophy known as Thelema.

Andrew Jackson Davis Often called the “Poughkeepsie Seer,” Davis was a 19th-century American trance medium who delivered lectures and writings while in a trance state.

Spiritual Growth and Understanding:

This is what we here for – to evolve in both directions: Mastering being human and integrating spirit.

Contemporary channelers:

Esther Hicks –  Abraham // Daryl Anka – Bashar
Lee Harris – The “Z’s” // Paul Selig – The Guides

Mediumship is the practice of connecting with and communicating with spirits of the deceased. Mediums act as intermediaries between the living and the spirit world.

Mediums actually channel aswell from non-corporeal entities with the focus on showing the continuity of consciosness – serving as evidence that death is only for the physical body. Mediumship provides comfort for those still in the physical body, offering solace and closure to individuals who have lost loved ones.

Mediums and channelers alike apply various techniques to receive messages and impressions, such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, or trance states, to establish a connection with spirits.

Some well-known mediums in history include:

Edgar Cayce  Often referred to as “the sleeping Prophet,” Cayce was a renowned American psychic and clairvoyant who provided numerous readings on various subjects, including health, past lives, and spirituality.

Eileen J. Garrett An Irish medium, Garrett was the founder of the Parapsychology Foundation. She was known for her work in trance mediumship and her contributions to the field of parapsychology.

Gordon Higginson A prominent British medium, Higginson served as the President of the Spiritualists’ National Union. He was widely respected for his evidential mediumship.

Estelle Roberts Another notable British medium,  Estelle Roberts was known for her platform mediumship and was a well-respected figure in the Spiritualist movement.

D. D. Home (Daniel Dunglas Home) A Scottish-American medium known for his physical mediumship phenomena, including levitation and materializations.

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky Although primarily known as a co-founder of Theosophy, Blavatsky was also a medium and claimed to receive teachings from various ascended masters.

Arthur Ford  An American psychic medium, Ford was known for his trance channeling and for claiming to communicate with deceased individuals, including the famous magician Harry Houdini.

These mediums played significant roles in the history of mediumship and spiritualism, and their contributions continue to be studied and discussed in the field of psychic phenomena.

Contemporary well known Mediums:

Laura Lynne Jackson // Suzanne Geismann // Birgit Fischer
John Edward // James Van Praagh

Ethical mediumship emphasizes the importance of offering messages from the deceased with compassion, sensitivity, and responsibility. It’s crucial for mediums to approach their work with integrity.

Both channeling and mediumship are deeply spiritual practices and can offer comfort, guidance, and insights to those who seek them. The benefits are:

– From my experience, channeling can serve as a wellspring of creative inspiration, unlocking new ideas, perspectives, and solutions that may not have been accessible through conventional thinking.

Channeling and mediumship can provide deeper insights into spiritual realms, helping you to connect with higher consciousness and gain a broader understanding of existence beyond the physical world.

– Through channeling, you may tap into your innate wisdom, accessing guidance that empowers you to make informed decisions and navigate life’s challenges more confidently.

Engaging in mediumship or channeling can facilitate emotional healing by allowing individuals to communicate with departed loved ones or to receive guidance from higher beings, leading to a sense of emotional release and catharsis.

These practices can broaden one’s perspective on reality, challenging conventional beliefs and opening the mind to new possibilities and dimensions of existence. What I find intriguing is how most of the channelers and mediums with general “downloads ” seem to convey the same messages and insight.

Mind you, it’s essential when engaging in these practices to do so with respect, discernment, and a commitment to ethical conduct. I especially would like to emphasize the need for balance, as always:

Engaging in highly spiritual practices is all very well and fine – as long as you also apply grounding techniques to not only branch out into higher realms –  but also seek to expand the roots into our earthly existence.

If you are interested in channelling /
or mediumship – these are the first steps:

  • Cleanse your body – detox from anything that clogs your system
  • Apply realaxation techniques
  • Deepen your meditation practice to attune with higher frequencies
  • Hemisync your brain – learn about heart/ brain coherence
  • Get in to the habit of automatic writing
  • Read the channeld masters that came before you
  • Set an intention as to why and what information // insight you wish to receive
  • Commitment to the regular practice of channeling and mediumship can heighten your intuitive abilities and sensitivity to subtle energies, enhancing your overall awareness and perceptiveness.

“Dear Diary”

I have been an avid writer ever since I was able to hold a pen – as a child I would make the silent little book with empty lines my secret friend: The only one I could and would confess all my troubles and fantasies to. No judgement what so ever would be the echo. Unless someone found it – so I made sure to hide it well.

Later, on my travels around the world I jotted down the experiences and situations I encountered. Here I also noted Lyrics and song fragments that would have otherwise gotten lost. (This was pre mobile phone and the diversity of apps, mind you)

My diary was my go to choice when I needed to gain clarity on my thoughts, feelings and emotions. Journaling as a daily habit – something that is now commonly known as “morning pages”, gifted me often with gems of insights that clearly were not coming from my often troubled mind, but from some more evolved and far wiser aspect. On researching this phenomenon, I came across the concept of  “automatic writing”.

AUTOMATIC WRITING

Automatic writing is a practice in which a person allows their subconscious mind or a spiritual guide to take control of their hand or fingers, enabling them to write without conscious thought or intention. This process is often used as a tool for self-discovery, creative expression, or spiritual communication.

This way of allowing the pen form words and sentences, bypasses the filters and limitations of conscious thought.

The subconscious mind expresses itself freely, which really helps when you find yourself in a feedback loop of constant overthinking. It helps to access and process deeply buried emotions or experiences.

The practice of automatic writing has a long history and has been applied by various cultures and spiritual traditions for centuries. It gained popularity during the Spiritualist movement in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The concept of receiving messages or insights through a form of trance-induced writing has appeared in different cultures and spiritual traditions for centuries.

In the modern context, automatic writing gained prominence during the Spiritualist movement of the 19th and early 20th centuries. This movement, which emerged primarily in the United States and Europe, focused on communicating with spirits and exploring the afterlife. Practitioners of Spiritualism often used automatic writing as a means to receive messages from the spirit world.

Prominent figures associated with the early practice of automatic writing:

  • Helena Blavatsky: The co-founder of Theosophy, a spiritual movement, mentioned automatic writing as one of the methods used to receive esoteric knowledge.
  • Stainton Moses: A British clergyman and medium who claimed to receive spiritual messages through automatic writing.
  • Pearl Curran: An American medium who claimed to channel a spirit named Patience Worth through automatic writing. Curran’s case gained attention in the early 20th century.
  • Alice Bailey: An influential writer and theosophist, Bailey claimed to receive teachings from a spiritual entity known as Djwhal Khul through a form of automatic writing.

The practice itself has ancient roots and has been used by various cultures around the world for centuries.

Automatic writing should be approached with an open mind, but also with discernment. It’s important to critically evaluate the content that emerges. It is not about predicting the future or receiving specific, concrete answers.
It’s more about exploring inner thoughts and emotions.

Automatic writing as a means of spiritual communication:

Some practitioners believe that automatic writing can be a means of communicating with spirits, guides, or higher consciousness entities. Practitioners often enter a meditative or trance-like state to facilitate the process, which can help them relax and allow the flow of thoughts without conscious interference. For some this is the first step to mediumship and channeling. Read more on channeling and mediumship below.

MAINTAINING THE STATE OF AWE

Maintaining the state of Awe: Remembering who you are and what you are here for - is the soil for a LIfe through the lens of love.

MAINTAINING THE STATE OF AWE

life through the lens of love and a feeling of deep connection.

First off – what is “AWE”?

Awe is an intense emotion typically elicited by something vast, powerful, or transcendent. People often experience awe in response to natural wonders, such as a stunning sunset or a majestic mountain range.Or when witnessing incredible feats of human achievement, such as a world record-breaking athletic performance.

Research has shown that experiencing awe has positive effects on physical and mental health. For example, individuals who experience “awe” tend to feel more connected to others. They have a greater sense of purpose, and experience less stress and anxiety.

The state of awe is an experience of life through the lens of love and a feeling of deep connection.

Maintaining the state of Awe: Remembering who you are and what you are here for - is the soil for a LIfe through the lens of love.

Awe can also be attained by more secular experiences, such as being completely absorbed in viewing a stunning piece of art, or listening to a powerful piece of music. It is really about the feeling when something touches your heart in such a way that you burst with a sense of unconditional love. The link between awe and spirituality is a fascinating aspect.

“Mindfulness practices can contribute to experiences of awe and spiritual well-being.”

Several psychologists, such as Dacher Keltner, Jonathan Haidt, Paul Piff, Michelangelo Vianello, and Jennifer Stellar, have explored the connection between awe and spirituality or a perception of something greater than oneself.

Exploring awe and peak performance, “Stealing Fire” the book by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal takes us on a journey into altered states of consciousness. This journey involves practices – such as meditation and mindfulness, unlocking the potential for heightened creativity, productivity, and well-being.

Stealing Fire: How Silicon Valley, the Navy SEALs, and Maverick Scientists Are Revolutionizing the Way We Live and Work

How to bridge the gap from flow state to the state of awe?

My experience of “flow” is more like being 100% absorbed in what you do: Time flies – you feel you are on the right track – and any pursuit –  like writing or composing for example, happens like a “download”.

Awe is more the expression of childlike wonder and love:

To enter and maintain the personal state of awe involves exercising self-love. This practice entails stripping away outer mind conditioning, comparison, and competition.

In the quest to explore awe in the modern era, I came across the perspective of Jason Silva – a modern-day performance philosopher and self-described wonder-junkie. He writes and produces short films and was also the Emmy-nominated host of National Geographic’s hit TV series “Brain Games,” airing in over 100 countries during seasons 2-8. Jason is active on Instagram and Youtube.

Silva uses broadcasting, online media, and lecture halls to share his contagious zest for awe-inspiring phenomena. Described as the “Timothy Leary of the Viral Video Age,” he infects people with optimism, emphasizing the importance of embracing creativity and the “flow” state.

Turn “inside” anytime to enter!

Retreating into complete and utter silence and solitude is needed to get a “feel and a hear” for what might seem a feeble voice. Always returning to the very source:

Your heart. Your breath.

This genius teamwork in coherence works like an amplifier for all the giant wonders and magical goings-on inside your body.

The synergy between heart and breath is a powerful conductor, orchestrating the rhythm of your existence. It’s not just a physical collaboration; it’s a harmonious partnership that extends to the core of your being.

Read more on breathwork here.

Enhance the coherence between your heart and brain:

In the realm of awe, the conscious return to your heart and breath becomes a deliberate act of tuning into this symphony.

This concept aligns with heart brain coherence – further exploring the relationship between the heart’s activity and brain function. Techniques such as intentional breathing and yes, again: mindfulness practices contribute to achieving this harmonious state, fostering physiological balance and influencing mental and emotional well-being.

To me it is like we are being the perfect musical instrument: playing the souls melody – resonating in accordance within the divine symphony of the universal mind. Like every instrument it needs good care and tuning.

Your brand is more than just a logo or a tagline – it is the collective perception that exists in the minds of your audience. Consistency builds trust.

When customers encounter a cohesive and uniform brand experience at every interaction, it solidifies their perception and fosters a sense of reliability. This consistency creates a brand identity that is not easily forgotten and distinguishes you from the competition.

Adaptability in a Dynamic Environment.

While consistency is crucial, so is adaptability. The business landscape is dynamic, and brands that thrive are those capable of evolving with the times. Your brand narrative should be flexible enough to accommodate changes in the market, consumer preferences, and societal trends.

Tech giants that started as niche players but adapted their brand narratives to become industry leaders. AI AND THE HUMAN TOUCH

Advanced technology holds incredible potential to improve our lives in countless ways.

How do we provide a positive outlook and a sense of purpose when jobs are being replaced or devalued?

While updating my FREE AI-GENERATOR LIST, I have noticed plenty of innovative tools – but also countless copycats, lacking genuine value or the ability to enhance heart-driven creativity for artists and professionals.

What is on my mind a lot though:

How can we secure income, purpose, and a future in an age where technology advances at breakneck speed? With automation and artificial intelligence taking over mundane tasks, what does that mean for the human workforce?

How can we ensure that people aren’t left behind?

The answer, I believe, lies in our inherent humanity:

It’s the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇 that will become increasingly valuable. Of course, I am not saying that advanced technology isn’t useful – and inevitable. Quite frankly we have been using AI and machine learning for many, many years already.

Craftsmanship, true artistry, personal care, sustainable architecture, and permaculture are some examples of skills and practices that require a human touch and can’t be replicated solely by machines. Advanced technology holds incredible potential to improve our lives in countless ways. But it’s just that – a tool! It’s up to us to decide how we wield it and what kind of future we create.

I dream of a world where craftsmanship, heart-centered art, personal care, sustainable architecture, and permaculture become the roots of a modern, deeply connected human society.
What is your dream?

Imagine a world where these practices are not only valued – but placed at the forefront. Where we celebrate the unique qualities that define us, prioritize sustainability, and build a better world – for us and the planet.
