When we look at the sky, we see countless stars, planets, and comets – entire galaxies woven into a cohesive, functioning order. Much like the tremendous number of cells in our bodies, each has a role to fulfill.
When we turn inward and honor the myths and stories of those who came before us – those who dedicated their lives to understanding the interconnectedness of all things – as above, so below; as within, so without – it becomes profoundly moving to realize how intricately this cosmos, which holds us too, is divinely orchestrated.
In medical astrology, planets and zodiac signs work together to govern specific parts of the physical body. The signs trace a sequential path through the anatomy – from Aries at the head to Pisces at the feet – while their ruling planets describe vitality, function, and potential challenges. The planets express which energy moves; the zodiac signs reveal how and the houses where it manifests.
Both science and astrology acknowledge that celestial bodies influence biological rhythms, though they differ in interpretation. Science recognizes the measurable effects of the Sun and Moon, while astrology considers the energetic influence of all planetary bodies on the body clock. emotional states, and overall health.
It is widely accepted that the Moon, ruler of water and emotion, also governs the menstrual cycle.
There Is a Time for Everything – the CELESTIAL BODIES WORK not just THE HUMAN BODY CLOCK:
Planetary movement not only influences our biological rhythms, but also our inner life: Transits reflect phases of growth, conflict, healing, and initiation, guiding us through the unfolding of our unique life story. Understanding how this happens reminds us that we are not isolated, egoic beings living on a vast plane – but participants in a living whole.
„We are like the stars, like the cells: each with a place, each with a function, each contributing to the ever-unfolding symphony of creation.“
As I have been diving deeper into dwarf planets, asteroids, and fixed stars, I’ve been astonished by the specificity of their roles. We can even read the influence of galactic points such as the Galactic Center or the Great Attractor – places in the sky that activate specific degrees in our chart.
These mythic galactic companions allow us to trace pivotal life events and understand the deeper symbolic forces shaping our experiences.
I like to imagine a world where humans devote their learning first and foremost to understanding how to live in harmony with the cosmos – cultivating health, balance, and well-being for all sentient beings, as long as we are here to tend the gardens of Gaia.
What if each significant degree in a chart could be read like a living chapter of our story – written by the stars, yet grounded in the details of everyday life?
What if, by leaning into the archetypal mythology of our natal charts, we could discover our assignment beyond conventional astrology?
What if the myths of the gods were our own?
Like, for example, Isis. Mary Magdalene. Yeshua. Haumea.
Where in your chart will you find them?
Here is an example of how an archetype reading shines a light on a current situation:
Lets look at the Galactic Center, sitting approx. 27’00 degrees in the Sagittarius constellation of our Milky Way galaxy:
This degree is represented by the archetype no. 11.5:
The Ideaotor In the role of The Philanthropist: knows detachment weakens harmony. If The Ideator has a prominent placement in our chart, we nurture the disenfranchised with motiveless, humanitarian ideas, and offer peace through giving. When misaligned, insecurity drives us to withdraw, using gifts as defense.
When aligned, our light shapes unity, holds direction through quiet strength, even in isolation.
This archetype moves from the shadow of OBSCURITY, has the gift of idealism and serves as the Light in high frequency embodiment
HARMONIC:
- Remaining true to inner vision.
- Anchoring beginnings with calm conviction.
DISSONANT:
- Acting from urgency or doubt.
- Pushing too forcefully, and drawing resistance that derails growth.
The Mantra of the 11.5 is:
“I offer with selfless, open heart. I yield to peace with kind intent.“
What cosmic assignment do you have? Where in your chart is „The Ideator“ connected to the Galactic Center?
I explore these concepts in depth in my forthcoming book, We are many more, which details the 64 archetypes and their role in our everyday life.
